What makes Matt Damon a political expert?
Palin has more experience in politics than Obama. He makes no valid arguments about her ability to be President. What a bum! A rich, handsome, athletic, well groomed bum. Damn you Matt Damon for being so adorable, yet stupid!
The fact that Obama has drawn a taxpayer funded paycheck for less time than Palin is kind of plus for me. His experience as a community organizer is far more valuable than being the Mayor of Wasilla. Hey, I'm biased, but I think helping unemployed blue collar workers in poor Chicago neighborhoods shows more character than spouting off about abortion (bad), hunting (good) and living next door to the Russians (so I have foreign policy experience).
There are no really bad Disney movies! That being said, Matt Damon's point rings true - what in the hell are we going to do if we have a president who thinks she has some kind of unique insight about Russia because one can see a Russian island from an Alaskan island? I think, after watching Charlie Gibson intv Sarah Palin, one thing was clear: Charlie Gibson would make a far better vp than Sarah Palin.
Matt Damon has more foreign policy experience than Sarah Palin ever had.
The guy has been on location at various film sites throughout the entire world. He spoke fluent French, German and Russin in the "Bourne" movies. He's a bonafied American Hero, and I don't think he's ever tried to ban any books from the local library.
Matt Damon for VP, because he believes T-Rex was real and roamed the Earth millions of years ago.
And if all of this political bantering is getting a little too much, try aking a break and enjoy a little R&R at the Creationism Museum in Kentucky.
I am just suggesting the posts be about Duluth and its areas.
I don't visit PDD for Matt Damon's political point of view, unless it's about here. If you lose the content of the meaning of the blog, the blog goes to sh.t.

(And by the way, boywonder, where is the humor in this post?)
I'm not exactly sure what is funny about the comparison between the foreign policy experience of Damon-Palin.
I agree that Matt Damon has ZERO foreign policy experience, I don't care how many movies he filmed abroad. Which pretty much ties him with Palin as she too has ZERO foreign policy experience. So I guess the lesson to be learned here is that both Matt Damon and Sarah Palin are woefully inadequate when it comes to policy experience. Personally anyone who would vote for either one as Veep is a complete fucking idiot. And since only one is actually looking to fill that office, you do the math.
It is quite accurate to say Damon has more foreign policy experience than Palin. Any shmoe who's spent a summer traveling abroad has more experience. It's kind of a moot issue, though, because where leaders lack expertise they defer to advisors. The issue isn't their own experience so much as whom they'd be surrounded by. That's an issue that doesn't get enough scrutiny in elections.
I love it when bloggers criticize actors for having political, foreign policy credibility when discussing politicians. These are peoplewho happen to work as a ctors, and many of them have the smae conercns and do the same research, as the rest of us who care about these things. These actors, they pay taxes, raise families and apparantly read the newspapers and watch the news. They're eaqually qualified to voice their opinion. Yes, their views tend to get more national exposure than, say mine or pune's. So what?

Remember this post about PDD having lost its track? Well, I think this post has nothing to do here.

Zorglub
YES! YES! Lets ban the freedoms of speech and expression from PDD — not to mention anything containing an ounce of humor!
Is this an on-going "ban suggestion" or just a "60-day media ban strategy" the McCain camp tried?
Please.

And I can't be the only one thinking about Team America when I watch this video.

It's the bloggers that make it a Duluth Blog - not the blog itself.

Damon or not, I still think Palin is a cuntbucket.
Just thought I'd put that on the table.

I'm not terribly concerned about the "experience" argument, I'm concerned about the fundamentalist whackjob argument.

Matt Damon for Duluth mayor! There, now the topic is local. Are y'all happy? Hmmphh (with arms crossed).
