The Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art hosts its eighth annual exhibition featuring new works by students and faculty. This event will feature live music on opening night and a food truck on site both days. Work will be available for purchase to support the students.

Lake Superior Zoo hosts Toast to Tails, a tribute to the Roaring '20s. There will be an appetizer buffet, alcohol tastings, music, animal encounters and games. North Shore Ballroom will teach three dances: the Charleston, Swing and Foxtrot. There will also be a Silent Movie/Silent Auction Theater with a popcorn bar and a costume contest with prizes for the winners. Tickets are $45 for zoo members, $50 for non-members and $125 for VIPs.
