Record setting bar tab.
So, did I set the one person bar tab record here on Sunday or what?
I know the price of hops have gone up lately, but damn, should have been a notice posted or something. Must have gotten the one Breakwater White brewed from the tears of Dennis Anderson or something.
ps. The management is aware of this glitch and it is being righted. I just can't stop giggling everytime I think about the magnitude of the overcharge.

My husband & I had drinks once at the late, lamented DAC. I got my Visa bill, it said $50. I called them and asked if I'd been drinking liquid gold. Luckily, i had the receipt, so it was easily corrected. Another time, I had $800 for eyeglasses on my credit card bill -- I freaked, but the credit card co. dealt with it, turns out someone walked into a place in Chicago and had my #, but not my card, and charged $800 worth of sunglasses to me. Lesson to be learned: always save your receipts and go over each month's bill with a fine tooth comb!

I was once charged 3600.95 for avocadoes at the co-op. That was pretty easy to spot, and it's a fun receipt to have.

I have seen bar tabs similar (but not equal) at Norman's during the Brett Hull era.
