The last time they were doing snow removal, I was awakened at 1am by pounding on my door. I peeked out the window and saw police lights so was of course a little freaked out. Turns out it was a kindly police officer stopping by to let my roommate know his car would be towed if he didn't move it. I wasn't sure whether to feel grateful for the warning or annoyed at the late-night intrusion.
