it finally happened

enjoying a beautiful saturday morning, watching television and trying to remember what exactly happened that night before, something happened to me. something i thought i was going to be able to avoid. something so heinous and awkward i wouldn't wish it upon my worst of enemies.

someone came to my door asking if i had found jesus...

initially i wanted to tell the kind man that i not only knew him but the he can do one hell of a keg stand, but his innocence had a profound effect on me. it was like i was frozen in my doorway. standing there with my beer stained t-shirt and a slightly dishevelled expression i could do nothing more than nod and hope this would end. what lasted maybe a minute felt like an eternity (no religious pun intended). as the man got back into his minivan i held his pamphlets and thought about what had just happened. they finally got me....does this mean i have to go to church now?
