i popped my bob dylan cherry
i bought my first bob dylan cd last night--blonde on blonde.i've gone through many of the requisite white-boy obsessive music phases: the beatles, zeppelin, ac/dc, hendrix, etc., with abbreviated phases of punk rock, minneapolis stuff from the '80s, and other genres.
a serious johnny cash period has segued into dylan.
and i have questions:
are nashville skyline and john wesley harding worth buying?
is the royal albert hall '66 show as good as it's supposed to be?
what's the dylan stuff to avoid?
has anyone taken the time to make a "dylan does duluth does dylan" mix? a mix--or the closest possible thing--of the originals that are covered on duluth does...?
