I wrote a really long dissertation, but since I'm in the midst of quitting smoking and am just a LITTLE ON EDGE, I cut it down to this: I agree, these guys are talented and have catchy tunes. But I have to ask you something: these days why does it seem like every other band I hear who has a male lead vocalist has a guy who's trying to sound forcefully wheezy, raspy and asthmatic?

they all worship at the alter of Tom Waits? Incidentally, I heard some tunes on the radio yesterday from a lady who use to work as a nanny for Wait's kids, kinda strange to think of (the songs weren't all that bad either).

I never really tried before. Just said I was. Really, it's not all that bad. Haven't had a butt for about a week. Not doing it because of the ban. Heck, I live in Superior! I'm tired of feeling like shit is all. Besides the fact that I've been saying I'm going to quit for the past 10 years or so. Just decided to finally do it. Funny... I can smell again. And taste. And breathe. After 18 years of smoking, it's kinda weird. I feel like I have new senses. Really, really, really nice.

Gwanto, did you think the raspy asthmatic was the lead singer or the backup? I thought Ben's voice was great (lead); Luke (the backup) sounded a tad off, but the facial expressions made up for it.

Nevermind me. I haven't had a cigarette in a week. I'm pissed off at everything. Finally starting to level out though, thankfully.
