Lincoln Park Tombstone

We live by the beautiful Lincoln Park and walk our dog there often.on the road above the park(I think its lincoln parkway)there is a tombstone.It is very hard to read due to erosion but i
think the name is "Day" and the year of death is 1937.The "died here"
is pretty clear.Anybody know anything about this??

Where the heck is this? We live by lincoln park also, but I don't think I've ever seen this.

the location is at the top of the stairs that lead up to lincolm parkway (right where the road curves)
