I was going through my files and found this article from the Duluth News Tribune dated 12/29/1995. Of course my scanner is down right now so I had to use a photo.

Sheesh... I took that pic - was my last month at UWS before I finally graduated. Seems like eons ago. Wait a minute, it was. Oi.

gosh.. i miss those guys..

Have you guys aged at all?

Speaking of rockstars, the guy who wrote this story once trashed my apartment at a very late afterbar. Meanwhile, kids were getting on a school bus outside.

Mark Earnest = Punk Rock Morissey...BTW Ed Fitz 4ever!

Mark is still playing music out in Reno. Now I totally need to post some Swivelhead stuff!

Oh thats the Mark we hung out with when we played in Reno. Nice guy!

Laurie sent me this link. Neato! I'm still writing about bands too and I'm using the same 12-15 adjectives! Jesus. I don't remember trashing the apt but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Gotta explore this site more now.

Actually, that wasn't you, Marko. It was someone with a very similar name. Sorry for the confusion.

Even as a young fellow, that Cougar Conley was a sexy mofo. Nice buncha boys-Ed Wiley, too.

yeah, laurie is pretty much privy to my (and the boys')entire sordid career in rock and roll, from the old days playing in our various bands at roller rinks and high school graduation parties to the heyday of alternative rock in the early nineties with pw. Rodney: we were about 22 years old in that picture. we haven't aged well, we just started out looking like 35 year old men. i know christian mcshane had other photos from this set which are hilarious, like a closeup of me with a huge dip in. awesome! this band allowed us to become friends with so many great duluthians, superiorites and folks from all over this region.

i still love rock and roll, and i will still keep putting another dime in the jukebox, baby. though a dime gets you about one third of a song these days.
