Daaaaarknesssss

Seriously, this post has been on here since almost 3:30 and nobody has made a joke about a Firkin of Tea Bagged Furious??

I'm Firkin Furious! But thankfully I avoided the tea bagged part. Heyooooo

You don't joke about Surly brews....Darkness is one of the best things I've ever tasted. Been trying to find a place in town that sells it....

Chester: you probably wont get much of it up there aside from on the 12th. It's on tap at a couple places around the cities here, but probably not for long. And I believe they only sell it in bottles at the brewery. I had a pint and didn't mind it. A little sweet with a burnt coffee finish.. the first taste is weird, and starts tasting better with subsequent drinks. Just don't let it get warm or it starts tasting like pure alcohol =)

If you want something else akin to Darkness, look for North Coasts Old Rasputin, Great Divides Yeti, Bells Expedition Stout, Averys Czar and now that Wisconsin carries Stone... you might be able to find the Stone Imperial Stout in Superior... but I am not sure if they're distributing that far north yet.
