Chancellor Kathryn A. Martin and the Royal D. Alworth, Jr. Institute for International Studies proudly present a lecture by former U.S. Vice President and U.S. Senator Walter F. Mondale on Thursday, January 31 at 1:30 p.m. in the UMD Weber Music Hall. Mondale's speech, titled "Foreign Policy Development and Presidential Candidates", is the Royal D. Alworth, Jr. Annual Memorial Lecture 2008.
Walter Mondale, drawing upon his vast political experience, will explore the foreign policy problems that the United States is experiencing in a turbulent world. Reviewing the pluses and minuses of working alone versus working with others, Mondale will evaluate the foreign policy stance taken by leading contenders in the race for the presidential nominations. Good point! I'm certain Walter Mondale's speech will lack incessant Lew Latto references and the fecal humor that would be necessary for a good time.

Well, Clinton may have gotten the Mondale endorsement but I just read that Obama got the coveted Hulk Hogan endorsement.
