Please decrease size of picture so it will fit. 500 pixels wide. Or you can put "100%" in for width for it to autofit.

Thanks for decreasing the size. I see Don Ness has joined the Obama camp in a big way.

That address makes no sense.

126 W. 1st Street.

Where is that? LifeHouse?

Thank you to whomever fixed the picture for me. I worked on in it for as long as I could this morning before I had to leave for work. I've never had a problem decreasing the size of .jpg's but for some reason I had trouble decreasing the size of what was originally a Word document.

The office is one space west of Anchor's End Tattoo.

I've known for awhile that Don has been an Obama guy, but it's nice to see that he's making it public. Although I'm sure it will give those in the DCB camp more ammo for their Holy War on Mayor Ness.

It doesn't help Don that the DCB folks hate Muslims, because you know dang well they're ignorant enough to believe that Obama is a Muslim. I hear they might be in some legal doo doo, though, so perhaps we'll see the second demise of that place.

sheesh...he hasn't even been in office fr three weeks and they're already musing over Recall Ness bumper stickers...

IF they're in legal doo doo, it's no big surprise...and completely of their own doing, contrary to what they'll tell you, which will be something akin to "trying to silence the truth," but in reality it's more like "putting an end to slander and libel."

Yeah there is no doubt what a lot of extreme right-wingers think of Obama. I got an email from a republican friend of mine that made a big deal over the fact his middle name was Hussein. His middle name is the same as Saddam's last name, that has to mean something right? Plus Barack's last name is dangerously close to Osama. So basically in the minds of a number of extremists we may be months away from electing a known terrorist.

As far as I know OhBomba is a Baptist Minister and the last Baptist minister I listened to said all people like me are going to hell. Then of course all gays too, along with anyone else who don't see things their way.

Wow, Anarchy, are you ever wrong and in a big way. Where do you get these things? Obama is a member of the UCC which is one of the Christian denominations that actually celebrates same sex marriage and ordains gays and lesbians. I think you better reboot.

I was listening to some reporter. Yep I know should have checked it out first. I'll do some research on it.

I believe it is Huckabee who was the Baptist minister. Not sure where the heck you would hear that about Obama, what where you listening to?

The little voices in my head.

Huckabee, Obama. Yeah, I get those names mixed up all the time.

I'm hoping to make the Obama event, just to see who else shows up. Maybe there will be a DCB protest outside? Oh yeah, that's right, they don't back up their words with action. Afraid of retribution and all that.

If I go to the Obama event, and have to cross DCB protesters, can someone PLEASE run interference for me? I may need to hire some beefy bodyguards, those crazies on DCB are walking our streets. BTW, they found out my deepest darkest secret: I have a big butt. Seriously, even though I don't know who those psychos are, they'll be easy to spot anywhere -- they'll be the ones wearing the white hoods over their heads.

I did find this.

Obama's Minister and Church:

I've been reading some recent blog posts, linked by Instapundit, about Barack Obama's church, the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, an Afrocentric church that preaches what the New York Times calls Black liberation theology.

The senior pastor (and former pastor) of the church is one Jeremiah A. Wright. Rev. Wright, who, according to Obama, has had an incredibly profound influence on his life, has said many controversial things over the years, which a simple Google search will turn up. Browsing around I came across the fact that in November, the church's newsmagazine, The Trumpet, announced that it plans to "honor" Louis Farrakhan "this winter at its Sounds of the Shore gala with an Empowerment Award." Apparently, Rev. Wright himself heartily approves of Farrakhan.

"When Minister Farrakhan speaks, Black America listens," says the Rev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, likening the Minister’s influence to the E. F. Hutton commercials of old. “Everybody may not agree with him, but they listen… His depth on analysis when it comes to the racial ills of this nation is astounding and eye opening. He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest. "Minister Farrakhan will be remembered as one of the 20th and 21st century giants of the African American religious experience," continues Wright. "His integrity and honesty have secured him a place in history as one of the nation’s most powerful critics. His love for Africa and African American people has made him an unforgettable force, a catalyst for change and a religious leader who is sincere about his faith and his purpose." (emphasis added)

I disagree with Barack Obama on almost everything, but I find him to be a likeable fellow and a very engaging speaker, and instinctively a more promising choice for president than his Democratic opponents (which, admittedly, isn't saying much). However, having harshly criticized Ron Paul for his dubious associations [even before the newsletter scandal], and even Giuliani for sucking up to Pat Robertson, I certainly don't think that Obama deserves a pass for his membership in a church that, among other dubious things, holds Louis Farrakhan to be a heroic role model, especially given Obama's campaign theme of being a "uniter." (Evidence that Obama has quietly worked for change on such issues within the church would be welcome.)

Unfortunately, my suspicion is that the MSM won't touch this story until Hillary operatives inevitably spread it before the Florida and Northeast primaries, at which time it will become, improperly, another "black-Jewish" issue, when it should be a "is Obama upholding the standards he claims to believe in?" issue.

I think DCB blog is all part of Donny Ness's nefarious plan to take over the world by tricking us all into thinking his political opponents are all insane right wing wack jobs! If that is indeed his plan, he's even more clever and devious than we thought!

Having spent extensive time around him during the campaign, I would tend to agree. The only possible bump in the road may be his evil henchman. I don't see him getting far with Super Dave the weather guy. Now if he had George Kessler in that post, the sky would be the limit.

I have to say for me, it's still about John Edwards. Sorry, folks! Gauntlet!
