Via Blogumentary.

[P.S. He's OK.]

Thanks Barrett I was just going to post about this.

This is terrifying. Kenya used to be one of the neutral African countries (relatively speaking) and now because of the political uproar over the election, no one can get out of there. I hope he will be okay.

holy shit. my heart goes out to kenya.

Hans is back in the states and is fine. He will be at Luce this weekend for the Diorama-rama http://www.perfectduluthday.com/2006/11/dioramarama_2.html
with his band The Dance Band http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=79643372

Actually, the Diorama-rama is at Emerson School, not Luce. That link goes to last year's post.

Oh ya... Emerson... My mistake. Should be a great time. Give Hans a pat on the back for me.. I will be out of town.

Whoa..I was just thinking about Hans. He's speaking for us on March 12:

“Exchanging Spears for Books: The Maasai School Project”
Presented by Hans Johnson, Founder of the Maasai Cultural Foundation
Wednesday, March 12 - 7 p.m. - UMD Fourth Floor Library Rotunda

This is truly horrible.
