Help bring this bike home

cd05_1.JPGSo Big House and I are going to pick up this parts bike in Michigan. We have wheels with a trailer hitch and lights harness but no trailer. U-Haul 1 way from Davidson, MI to Duluth is $321.00 --- Obviously not in the cards. So we're asking our peeps for help. Of course If you're coming from Michigan with a truck and want to get your gas covered that would be best...hehe..not gonna happen I know...but if you have a good raod worthy trailer to which we could strp a bike, we'd be forever greatful for the contact...cbacigalupo _at_ gmail dot com.

Hey boys,

Davidson Michigan? You are welcome to swing through Winona and use my trailer. It is on the way. As you know my trailor is a veteran for picking up parts bikes.

The last time I was on the Point I noticed the guy who lives on the right at the turn just after the first beach (the one who perpetually has the vintage cream Harley for sale) had a "free to good home" sign on a trailer, although I dunno how road worthy it is. Might be worth a drive-by.

That trailer is not road worthy. I have seen it and it is all rust and no tires on it.. I'm sure it is all seized up.

is it cheaper to rent a uhaul trailer in Duluth and drop it back off in Duluth despite the additional miles? I know sometimes they hit you with a special fee if it is not returned to the same location.

Much cheaper, even with the additional miles. It's about 18-30 bucks to rent a trailer for "local" use. My wife and I have used this technique alot for hauling things to and from Washburn.

I have a great idea for the trailer. Big House could come and get the trailer he abandoned on my property a century ago.
