FALL FESTIVAL AND SALE 1-6 PM, OCTOBER 20
We are hosting our 4th Annual Fall Festival & Sale on Friday, October 20th, 1-6pm. This sale is a way to showcase and sell our hand woven rugs and handmade paper. Come out and support a great non-profit organization! We also have a bake sale, silent auction, take a chance game, door prizes every 15 minutes, entertainment by local talent: Wendy Gethen, Lauren Burton, Randy Ellestad, Jim Madison, Jody Anderson & friends.
We are located in the old Knife River school (204 Central Ave - a little over a mile past Tom's Logging Camp - Highway 61 N/Expressway). Watch for signs. Call with questions 834-5767.

I assume you are talking about Knife River DAC, but only becasue I recognize the event, location and work in the field. You may want to put who the "We" is.

Your assumption is correct. The "We" is the Lake County DAC.

What does DAC stand for? I'd be interested to know what your organization does. Thanks!

Yeah! I picked up a year's membership at CPF at the silent auction! Much better deal than daypasses. Thanks DAC!

The DAC stands for Developmental Achievement Center (Lake County DAC, Inc).
Our organization is a vocational training program for adults. We serve Duluth, Hermantown, Two Harbors, Silver Bay, and surrounding areas.
We are open daily (week days) if anyone is interested in purchasing beautiful hand woven rag rugs or homemade paper (great for scrapbooking)! We sell directly from the DAC and at area events (Folk Festival/Two Harbors, Heritage Days).
Being a non-profit and having a tight budget, we really don't have a marketing budget and rely on word of mouth and satified customers:)
Email me with any questions
