Dr. Evermor
So I headed back to Madison for the extended 4th of July weekend. On Sunday we decided to head north and hike around Devil's Lake. However, a stop was required to see Dr. Evermor's Forevertron. It holds the Guiness record for the largest scrap metal sculpture.
It's damn impressive to say the least.
And the Forevertron is only a small part of the hundreds of scrap metal sculptures he has made.
There is the bird orchestra. Each bird is made of at least one old instrument.
The most notable being this 3 story masterpiece.
These guys were all over the place.
How about some homemade action figures.
Dr. Evermor and his wife open their sculpture park to the public for free. They even take the time to sit and talk about art with anyone that wants to listen. And I recommend that you do. Here he is by one of his robot baseball players.
Feel free to take a look at all of my pictures here.

The next time you are near Baraboo, skip the circus museum and stop here instead.

Awesome. Makes me wonder what the legal limits are for yard art in Duluth. Hmmm...
