That's a gag, right?
The Homegrown "Jog/Social Run" is an April Fools joke, right? I mean, nobody's that stupid, right?
Right?

OK, I just read somewhere else that the run is in addition to the kickball. I thought maybe it was some kind of relay-race situation, like, whoever could run the whole course without spilling their beer-kind of thing.
Still, I can't see it getting many takers.

You would be surprised. Last year's non-official run drew:
Al Sparhawk, Justin Sparhawk, Tim Nelson, Brad Nelson, Mark Gartman, Chad Salmela and Matt Livingston, along with a bunch of non-band people.

and two of 'em threw up.

Only two? Let's try to give a little more to the spectators next time, OK guys?

I had suggested a Hash run...
The Hash House Harriers are a worldwide running club. The basic premise is that before a 'run,' a starting and end point are selected, with no particular route in mind. The end point is usually a pub, bar or tavern.

Hash runs are cool (and no, they don't involve hashish). (Usually.)
I think that the HG thing will be more like 45 minutes cruising around the Chester Bowl/St. Scholastica/Rock Pond trails. Though the run will not end up at a bar, participants will.
