Obi, the King and Queen of Geek Prom 2006 are Eric Houston of Hudson, Wis., and Shari Hartshorn of St. Paul. (I'll post a photo of them as soon as someone sends me a good one. There is a picture of the king in a Minnesota Daily story at http://www.mndaily.com/articles/2006/04/28/68224.
The runners-up to the king and queen are both from Duluth and will be cutting the ribbon to start the Homegrown Music Festival on Sunday night, April 30. They are: Walter Mahake Jr. and Patricia Peterson.
Clumsy, I can't wait to check out your band at Homegrown.
Obi, I just wanted to clarify that the cake in the picture wasn't related to Geek Prom, although it probably should have been, so I understand how your mind made that connection.
Comments

The cake was for an 8-year-old's birthday party.
But the way he's going, he's a sure bet for Geek prom king 2018.

Just noticed I typoed Walter's name. For the record, it's Walter Mahnke.
